Description

The vascular plant collection basically houses the plants results of the different works carried out in NE Iberian Peninsula (principally in Girona districts). Consequently, it is the most important herbarium for this area. The researches of this herbarium collabore with the ORCA project (Chorology of the flora of Catalan countries) and with the Flora Iberica project. The HGI collection increases with donations of old herbariums, as J. Isern herbarium.

To have a reference collection of vascular plant species, mainly from Catalonia.
